▸ Questions, asked & answered

The honest answers.

Do I need my own kit?+
No. For your trial and first month we'll provide bats, pads, gloves and helmets. Most regular players bring their own bat after a while — we have a partner discount with Himalaya Bats.
I've never played. Will I embarrass myself?+
No. We run beginner-only nets every other Saturday morning. Most of our weekend warriors started with a tape-ball at most. The dressing room is far more interested in whether you'll show up next week than whether you can pull a short ball.
How often do you train and play?+
Two training sessions a week (Tuesday evening, Saturday morning) and one match a week through the season. We don't punish missed sessions — life gets in the way.
Do you have a women's or junior squad?+
Junior coaching (8–14) runs every Sunday morning, free. We don't yet have a women's competitive squad — actively recruiting now, and the more people who show up, the faster we get there.
What does the monthly fee actually cover?+
Ground hire, equipment, league fees, umpires, kit, and a small reserve for the cup-final after-party that we will inevitably get to.
